Yeah! Or alternatively, they could use DNA to encode data for everyday non-living objects, since all morphing technology needs is some sorta DNA to read.

Right but canon is just the tasting menu, fanon is the whole buffet. Sticking to canon is something you do when it's fun, but when it gets in the way of fun you should chuck it out a window!

Who says it has to be while Stolas and Blitz are dating? They're both grown dudes in their 30s, who says Stolas didn't have a fling with Lucifer when he was 29?

And that's just ONE way to justify it. There's probably like 3 or 4 more!

Exactly! The more they learn and grow as a person, the madder they get cause it's like "I didn't have to do that, I could've fixed it, it could've been better."

It also lets me reconcile "Adam is the first Man" with "Humans evolved from other stuff" and "Eden isn't on Earth, it's a previous version of Earth", which is important for my story. You can do a lot with a being that can reset the universe on a whim (but has grown to hate doing it.)

I will say, I like the idea of God having restarted the universe a few times - it lets me reconcile the existence of Adam with the existence of Dinosaurs (Adam is from a previous iteration of the universe before God learned about Backstories), and it tracks with the Flood story and other religions.

I could go on and on about it but I worry I'd run out of things to say and have nothing left for my story. :C

My thinking is, ultimately, God is lonely and wanted fellow creators to hang with, and that's why the universe was made. But they're too big to properly interact with the universe - every time they say "I am God", people get hysterical, shit happens, and then people die. So now they go incognito.

I like the idea that God isn't perfect, has had to try and try again to make things work, and ultimately can make mistakes. I guess I'm drawing a lot on the story of Noah for that - God made a rash judgement, ended the world, and then realized they fucked up and apologized with rainbows.
