I'm just here for some intellectually stimulating discourse that challenges my views. Echo chambers serve only to atrophy the mind.
Great analogy.

Are you suggesting the lynchings, race riots, reconstruction violence, and those against the civil rights movement were on the Right?

Only three other countries have BC similarly to us: Canada, Brazil, and Pakistan. The 19 other countries that have BC have requirements, including a parent that's already a citizen or pre-birth residency requirements, etc.

No. Unfortunately, it's something I've come to expect.

This clearly states they're for logistical support. The other letter you shared specified that they were not to interact with the protesters. Again.

It's in the testimony. And, yes, he could have. And then we'd have yet another SCOTUS case about separation of Powers because he usurped the authority of Congress's SAAs.

Ad hominem much?

So, if Trump had ignored the mayor and both Sergeants-at-Arms, he'd be the hero? Is that what you're saying? He offered in consultation and they declined.
May 20, 2025 at 10:02 PM
They had Guard troops to assist in logistics only, and specifically prohibited from ''interacting with protesters.

Others testified differently.
May 20, 2025 at 9:54 PM
I already said that he authorized them. The offer was declined by the mayor and both Sergeants-at-Arms. One of the Sergeants-at-Arms is on record at saying he declined the offer "due to optics," as stated in the NPR article.
May 20, 2025 at 9:54 PM
He offered the Guard to the D.C. mayor and both house's Sergeants-at-Arms three days BEFORE January 6. They declined this offer.
May 20, 2025 at 9:11 PM
Its referring to January 6. Any information discovered after is relevant. What has changed since this article?

The President didn't have the authority to nationalize the DC Guard. He offered the Guard to The House's and the Senate's Sergeants-at-Arms and the D.C. mayor. Both declined his offer.

At least be accurate in your misleading memes. And, for the record, June 14th is the Army's 250th birthday. This parade is only the beginning of dozens of major celebrations leading up to our semiquincentennial next year.

Stolen when? What timeline? The Incas, Mayan, and Native American tribes all 'stole' their land from others. It happened everywhere in the world. Mexico and most of South America, by your definition, were stolen by the Spanish.

Do you believe in national borders? The sovereignty of countries?

2/2 Yet both legal and illegal aliens can use our hospitals and schools, etc. And, illegal aliens working off-book drive down wages. So, no, they do not pay more than they take. Including all factors, they are a net drain on our economy.
May 16, 2025 at 10:36 PM
1/2 How do they pay? If they're here legally, with a work visa or green card, they can get an SSN. Other visa holders may be authorized to get an ITIN. If they aren't one of these, then the only way they pay income taxes is if they have a fraudulent SSN.
