As a non-American, EVERY SINGLE FUCKING TIME I hear an American talk about their healthcare costs my jaw drops. What the hell. I would MAYBE spend 120$ a month on insurance (same situation, couple + 1 kid), and that covers meds not covered by public insurance and dental/vision care.
