TL:DR, the lead/senior artist "Gausswerks" got outed as a massive bigot posting all sorts of vile shit in a closed of right wing forum - then issued a "sorry I got caught apology", went silent and is now apparently still working on the sequel (if it ever materializes, that is).

bsky really needs that per-account "no reposts from this person" feature twitter had.
