The older generation tend to vote for parties that keep this mindset alive. It's time we all change. Pay our youth a living wage and look after our elderly. Greed and individualism keep this from being a reality.

We can learn from this terrible trend. Remember when young people were shamed for living with their parents due to house prices sky rocketing. Well in traditional customs including Maori, living with parents and grandparents was the norm.
