You know when you’re a meteorologist who’s had a major party, complete with marquee, planned for months and there’s what’s likely to be a named storm (would be Darragh) barrelling towards your hopes and dreams for a fabulous event?… Live scenes of me checking all the models every few hours:

We don’t normally talk about date records in this country - unlike the US - but today is of note. The warmest Nov day on record is 22.4C, Nov 1, 2015. But when the 18C readings we’ve seen in East Anglia this AM are confirmed it will be the warmest Nov 24th; previous record was 17.2C in 1970. 1/n

Well hello fellow BlueSkyers (is there a collective noun or name yet?). Lovely to meet you over here. It’s an interesting experiment isn’t it - can we keep in the calm, warm waters of positivity, inclusion and learning here vs the toxic, muddy sea we’ve left behind? Here’s very much hoping. x
