This is so important! Know your worth. I’ve had friends who almost expect (!) free work (even when they can afford to purchase things). It can be disheartening but it’s clearly part of the uphill battle of being an artist.

Yes! Mixed media with acrylic is next on my list to experiment with. I feel like you can build some interesting layers and textures with it all!
