Went to see a small production of Cabaret a couple months back. It was a few weeks after the elections and I thought then, "What a time to watch an old play about the insidious nature of fascism eh?" The playbill strewn next to my desk caught the corner of my eye today, and same...same.

Not knowing what to expect my first time at Can*Con, I brought a board game just in case. But instead of bumpin' room parties where we play the seasonally appropriate Betrayal at House on the Hill, all I've managed to do is forget to eat all day and crash at 7pm.

I know Halloween is over, but

...I was looking up aquarium ornaments (I've done a complete 180 on them lately. Have fun! Live your life.)

And I expected to see treasure chests and oyster shells, but to my surprise this was included in the top results!

I don't know about strong opinions about cheese. But I do feel strongly towards cheese. This is the only book I keep permanently in my nightstand. The World Cheese Book. For when it's 1am and I want some cheese but there is no cheese, so I just look at all the cheese.

Going to the CNE (Canadian National Exhibition) as I get older, really means I care less for the midway and shows and more for the flower and vegetable competition.
