Let's take Bata Ungar-Sargon. Talk about a flip-flop! Back when it was 'cool,' she adopted an anti-colonialism stance. This self-avowed 'Marxist' (back in 2022) encouraged Jews to vote for Trump in 2024, when it became cool to be a fascist Trumpster. Go with the flow, fucking airhead journalists.

CC's stance on Gaza was shocking. Likewise Sublation Mag. (to which I contributed when it first came out), started to disturb me. Doug Lain was clearly an idiot, etc. But I didn't know what was going on. Your piece connected the dots for me. Thanks

In fact it is this fetishization of theory that may not be so useful for any on the ground movement. Politics is praxis above all. Otherwise you get groups like the plats.

It's not about being perfect, it's about politics; being a Marxist is ultimately about politics (not even so sure how great a theorist he was, esp. his 2006 work, but let's not get into that). If his theory is useful fine. But I don't aggrandize intellectuals, will criticize their politics.

My problem is with great theorists with bad politics. Postone unfortunately fits in this category as a Zionist who supported the Iraq war. As someone who lives in the Middle East, we don't have the luxury to separate praxis from theory.

look I can't prove it, but that there may be some kind of relationship is word on the streets. I am not the first to imply such a thing. Could very likely be, how's that? Why would the 'last marxist' be so aligned with the state dept?

So although he can talk the Marxist talk inside and out, thus seduces the unwary, he sabotages all the principles. After all he was trained at Chicago by the Zionist Postone; like his teacher, he also defended the Iraq war back in the day, just like he denies the current genocide.

One thing to realize about the Plats is that their cult leader Chris Cutrone works for those behind MAGA, Israel etc. Disguising himself as the Last Marxist, he infiltrates Marxism only to destroy it from the inside, poisoning minds of young innocents along the way.
