We already have the shame of the Japanese internment camp at Delta during World War II. We don’t want ICE and homeless detention camps. We need some empathy and facilities that provide proper services to help people.

We were in England that summer and found it strange that every tabloid was supporting Bexit. The campaign was relentless FOR brexit and we thought it would hurt England so we couldn’t understand it. It centered on vilifying immigrants rather than
considering the long term economic impact.

We need more coverage of the impact of not getting the strawberries and other crops picked, aides afraid to come to work to help the infirm, impacts to the hotel and food industries, etc.
