Gardener, Professional Social Media-er, and Fisker Wrangler. Big on hope. Small on height. (she/her)
So, the preschooler said for the first time today that he was excited to go to school, and I know it's because we're ordering all of his new school stuff but also...

I'm fine, this is fine, everything is fine.

I picked flowers apart for one and a half hours for this starter and it was worth every single minute

Here everyone, enjoy this bee video I'm uploading to the lodge's fb page while fb makes me wait on "processing media", again

The preschooler slept for an hour and a half this afternoon and I didn't realize how much my life had changed for the *better* when he dropped his nap until he was still awake and singing to himself at 9:20pm

Slowly--slowly!--getting used to the summer rhythm of juggling parenting, social media-ing, and keeping plants alive, to the point that I almost feel like I can write? Or work out? What a concept.

Anyways, here's the best dessert picture I've ever taken.

The sheer *antsiness* my preschooler exudes when he's waiting for the baby to wake up so we can go to the park with his cousin is like nothing else

My oldest's godfather just moved around the corner from us and the freedom to say, "hey boo, u up," and ask him to come and wrangle the toddler while I handle the baby because my husband was up in the rafters yesterday evening is truly unparalleled. Idk how people without a village do it.

Every year I'm reminded how many people had a birthday on our wedding. We literally sang happy birthday at our reception to everybody who had a birthday and still chose to come to our wedding.

When you add another kid you don't just double the clothes, the clothes actually increase exponentially

I am going through the dresser and the clothes are organized into 6 piles

Trying to find dinner service uniforms that are of good quality for the dining room this summer has been the biggest headache of my winter thus far, who knew

We are cold-turkeying the peanut out of the swaddle and into the sleepsack tonight. She's always been a good sleeper, so we're hoping that things won't be too different 😶

We are on Day number "toddler is helping with the dishes and asked for more bubbles so I emptied out the sink and made a lot more bubbles" of a teeny tiny little bit too cold to go outside

For the first time in our marriage we have a dishwasher, which is fantastic! So fantastic that I thought to myself, "wow, it would be great to have magic laundry machines."

And then I remembered...I have magic laundry machines. What I don't have is magic *folding* machines, and that's the problem.

It's -40 out this morning and the toddler gets A Little Squirrelly when he can't go outside so I 10000% invited one of the employees from the island over to hang with him so we could get stuff done and not go stir crazy.

We're very grateful for all of the people who love our family 😅

I just had to teach the coffee guys about how it works now that Justin is stepping down. Political literacy in this country is not great!

Checked out our hopeful someday house spot with Fisker and needless to say she does not like her suspender boots, but that's what she gets for trying to lose them in the snow every year

The hardest part of dog ownership is not laughing at them once they have winter boots on

Not me, thinking about giving my husband the gift of organization for Christmas

[my untidiness threshold is slightly higher than his and it stresses him out]
