Mumbai ➡️ Pune ➡️ Seattle ➡️ Dallas
It's even more infuriating that where/there and when/then rhyme but what/that doesn't.

So what you're saying is:
- Amorim would have joined City over Utd if Pep wasn't staying
- Pep stayed bc he wants to

My bro, you seem to be one of those people who think City are in the same league as United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea.

And on top of that, you're calling me deluded. Zero shame. 😂

There are too many variables in this discussion. I don't buy it personally that the market doesn't affect his decision-making.

But if it helps you sleep well at night, your oversimplified thinking of "Pep does what he wants when he wants" is correct.

Yeah, man. You're right. He can leave when "he feels he's done" without a care to what happens to City after he's left.

He's bigger than the club so you've got that right. I don't know why I thought he'd respect his employers.

Personally, I'm going for a Chelsea defender for the higher upside and their ridiculous run from now until GW25.

Will give me the choice to go with:
- Gabriel
- R. Lewis
- Ait-Nouri and/or Chelsea defender

My brother, I believe in the consequences of the market. Pep staying or going depends on him. But is there a chance that Pep chose to extend for a year or 2 bc of a lack of replacements?

All I'm saying is the manager market is dry rn. Especially when Berrada stole Viana's best buddy.

There was already too much chatter about Pep leaving. After the arrival of Hugo V, it made perfect sense for Amorim to join.

If Pep signed on to the job before Amorim to Utd, then it would become obvious. But given this came a month later..

Makes sense given Amorim was going to replace Pep but United jumping the gun means City don't have a replacement lined up.

Nothing new that we didn't already know. United has spent big and have much better depth, it's about managing both injuries and form by rotating and having a playing style that is not over-reliant on individual brilliance.
