Perfect. Just what is needed after watching the documentary on Netflix about the aftershocks of the earthquakes on Everest, as well as the documentary series about the world’s worst weather (tornadoes, hurricanes, volcanoes, earthquakes, etc.) and subsequent emergencies…. 👀😳

🚨Emails confirm the Trump administration used Social Security as political payback against Janet Mills.

WH owns it in a statement, saying supporting trans athletes "will not end well for the Governor and the people of Maine deserve better.”

I wonder how many people are just now discovering #signal, and who are also hoping they’ll become the next accidental add to the highly confidential “secure” government group chat.

The current administration is EXACTLY what the U.S. has always been. Everything we are witnessing, from abusive denigration, to fascist eugenics, to control by a few wealthy whites, this has been the U.S. since its violent founding.

Now that there is no pretense, may more people finally understand.

If you wanted to cut waste, fraud, and abuse, you would empower the inspectors general.

If you wanted more waste, fraud, and abuse, you would fire them.

My brain read ‘when the crime scene comes’. I suspect both are accurate.
Just an FYI. Don’t expect any politics or speculation about what might happen for a while. I’m sure there will be plenty to comment on when the time comes 💯

Each day begins with me spending over an hour convincing myself that I need to get out of bed, while I simultaneously and angrily mute all of the alarms I set with the intention of annoying myself to the point where I get out of bed immediately.

I’m watching Making a Murderer (Part 1, the final episode) on Netflix. I know documentaries lean one way, but this entire series seems to display a series of miscarriages of justice. I can’t listen to the prosecutor and his creepy voice anymore. Unreal.

I’m at a crossroad. I don’t know if I should 1) pack up and start living vanlife, traveling in peace with my dog, 2) seek to begin my 35-year long dream of living abroad, or 3) if I should look at my bank account and laugh heartily at myself until I cry into a pint of Talenti.

There’s been a recent increase in #astrophotography images of the cosmos on here, so I’ve put together an alt-text checklist to assist with writing.

Our Universe is wonderful, so let’s ensure everyone gets to experiences it.

My shots of the #AuroraBorealis / Northern Lights last night (Thursday).

The first three were at Diablo Lake in the North Cascades National Park, from sunset until 9:30pm. Then final image was near Thornwood, WA at about 1am. Great views in the PNW!

I posted this on YarnBook (🧵), but I received a warning before posting, so it’s being hidden.

A post on the @weratedogs (love them, no hate!) Yarns page, shows a formerly overweight dog.

His “mom” in AZ runs a large page and seems to focus on beagle rescue. But there’s more to her.

I broke the cardinal rule of ADHD about an hour ago.

Help, inertia and I have had an argument, and I need to move again. But it’s winning.
