The good news is I haven't started on the cups yet - so if I can't find a close enough match, having a contrasting colour on the cups wouldn't look bad at all I think :)

Hi hi! Do I have any followers who are into knitting/crocheting/fiber arts? I bought this yarn (fingering weight) from a local Van company ages ago, and I'm making a project with it, but I'm worried I'll run out of yarn before it's done. Does anyone know where one might get something similar? :)

I seem to be better the longer the time format, which to me is incontrivertible proof that I would be at LEAST 2500 at classical. Maybe 3000? Maybe better than anyone in history?

I was just looking for a video that used the phrase spell pharaoh, but thanks Google AI for telling me a spelling I never used was incorrect. Super helpful
A Google search results page for “spell pharaoh.” The top result shows a definition from Oxford Languages. 9 moves in and I had already hung two pieces. Jesus christ
A game three moves into the opening. There are white pawns on e4 and d5, Black has one pawn on e5, and Black has just played the knight from f6 to d5, which is a blunder (it traps the knight). A few moves later. White’s knight is on f3 with pawns on d5 and e5. Black has just castled kingside, which is a mistake - black has a bishop on d4 that's hanging.
