This book. I’m an audiobook fan, in part, because of books like this where the author reads their work. His writing is stunning in its beauty (all writers will be enraptured), but he also has so much pedagogical knowledge to share with teachers of all subjects (not just writing). So good.

Not an ad, but I love the new smart shopping carts at Schnucks. Scan my items as I go, it clips coupons for my items, and then I pay with my credit card on the cart. No lines, easy in and out, and I save money.

Did you know that if you take a pic of your dog, your iPhone can guess what breed your dog is? For my mutt, he most often gets Plott Hound, Mountain Curr, Boxer, or Staffordshire Terrier.

If you’ve never walked in a parade before, I cannot recommend it enough! I just walked my first, and seeing smiles and cheers for miles was good for the soul. Remembering we are part of a community is so important.

The #STLCITYSC game was SO MUCH FUN today. Beat the Galaxy in front of a sellout crowd and I got to see my happy kids’ cheer them on. Oh— and we all got capes!

Lately I’ve decided to focus on dogs instead of crazy people that I can’t control. So my kids and I did our first Doggy Date a at local shelter. Highly recommend! Dogs > people ❤️
