He survived so it’s okay, I wouldn’t exist if he hadn’t 😂 from what I can gather it’s the Battle of Arras! My great grandad was a Green Howard, 30th division (by this point) 21st brigade

I don’t suppose you could tell me something about this one too 😂 I know that he was declared no longer fit for active service but I don’t know what the other letters mean in the box about his discharge

Can any eagle-eyed historians tell me which campaign this medal is for? I’m thinking 1914 star based on the date but that’s my only clue as I cannot read the writing! #historiansofbluesky #history #ww1
