I agree, the only way is through connection and convo & that is HARD and SLOW. But sometimes that means it puts the onus on the victim of their hate to be the one to help them to “see”, which doesn’t seem right at all.

I don't think this is pessimistic, I believe it’s pragmatic. And even if this is something that means nothing and the money still flows after the next month, it’s still pretty messed up. To willfully terrorize your constituents into submission is pretty crappy.
