I have sad news to share. My mom, Lois Stankorb, passed away in her sleep yesterday, listening to opera on her beloved NPR.

My favorite part of last week was showing up at my mom's in time for happy hour and seeing their very Elvis entertainer put her on the mic for You Are My Sunshine. ❤️☀️

This week I pulled off a big surprise. My mom's facility had its Thanksgiving dinner and we snuck in her china.
For most of my childhood, this was the fanciest thing in the house. So many other things disappeared to the pawn shop (and never came back), including her engagement ring.
