Here we go again.
I’ve done The Artists Way once before and… not to sound like a cultist - but it was pretty fantastic. I don’t remember why I stopped. So here I am again, starting from week one with an open heart to letting in creativity!

I’m gona get real with yall, I am not thriving right now. I feel the weight of nasty people weighing heavy on my chest and sometimes I find myself panting because I’ve been holding my breath for no reason. Today I decided to paint and draw and it helped.

I need more gentle moments… we all do.

I feel like it’s been SO LONG since I made mugs! In the background of preparing for NCECA I am working on a Suns and Moon mug release… slow and steady. Very steady. These outlines are FINE baby!!

Last night I went to a girlfriend’s house and we painted. We talked about how frustrating it is to watch the world burn when we care so deeply.

I started out painting myself screaming but instead…
