That sassy wife, funny mom, silly sister, crazy friend and loud librarian everyone needs in their life. 🤪
I’m terribly allergic to the cotton but love to see it, as it’s part of life in the Midwest. I do hate how it clogs up the air conditioning unit though.

Female empowerment is so important in raising girls. My husband and I knew that our two petite daughters would someday be outside of the umbrella of our protection, so we enrolled them in Tae Kwon Do. Both earned self esteem, confidence and black belts. Don’t mess with girls.

He relies on cognitive dissonance to get by. People want so badly to believe his bullshit that they just do. It only works because he has the perfect audience for it:too lazy to point out the plot holes the rest of us can see clear as day.

I have lost many in my life but over the last 25 years, the loss of Tigger, Oreo, Bloo and Domino have each left special paw prints on my heart. I will always have cats, my lost boys have helped me find an infinite supply of love to share.

It’s very hypocritical when the politicians talk about encouraging families to have more babies, but yet they don’t offer help with any part of raising children after conception.

Sadly, when those families end up in drug court the children no longer have advocates from CASA to speak for them, thanks to budget cuts in Washington.

It won’t be hard for them to bring back, sadly. The Boomers used it, the Gen Xers used it a lot…I don’t think it will a big moral step backwards for many of us (Gen X) to use it, despite knowing it’s wrong.

This might be the anthem of the year!

On a state level, it’s hard to be Blue, but there are more of us in this conservative state than people realize. I’m glad she’s gone but disappointed she’s out there on a national level. Most people around here are far more sensible and level headed.
