Yes! And colleagues suggesting that students use AI to find sources as part of assignment directions had me 😵‍💫

I’ve been collecting examples of AI hallucinations because I think a lot of people still don’t know that it makes things up??? Like, not even all the faculty at Summer Course (Re)Design knew that. And if I can’t dissuade students from using AI I hope to get them to at least check its work 🙃

I also sometimes can’t pay people bc they give up on the vendor system 🫠
