Happy Ring Plane Crossing! Every 14-15 years, Saturn’s rings seem to vanish from Earth when we see them edge-on. This happens because of Saturn’s 26.7° tilt as it orbits the Sun. Here’s Hubble’s view from 1995 and 2009! 🪐

The clouds didn’t cooperate for this eclipse, but I’m grateful I had clear skies for the total lunar eclipse in November 2022. Sharing a few favorite shots from that night! Big congrats to everyone who got amazing photos this time!
