I planted a lot of flowers during the first Trump term to brighten up my bubble/liberal enclave. I'm not sad about it and I may just double down this time around.

The top end of the GS payscale is $162,672 (195,200 in expensive locales). Most civil servants work for far less than they could make in the private sector. This is not about efficiency or reducing the debt. It's about shifting more wealth to the top 1%.

One of the many things making me angry right now is that a group of super rich guys who have never needed a job are actively ruining the jobs/careers of 2 million civil servants. Sure, some of it is a vendetta against democracy, but it's also going to be used to support tax cuts for the top 1%.
