Temperature Blanket Update - July 2025. Proof of what a wonderfully warm month we have had during July. Look at all those yellows, oranges and reds. I wonder if we will dip into the greens again in August, what do you think?

❤️ Highest temp 28⁰C 11 & 13 July.
💛 Lowest temp 18⁰C on several days.

This week I am working on a wonderful wholesale order for a lovely customer expanding their new farm shop. 🐔 This is only half of the Chicken Coasters, I still have another 5 sets to make for them and they are exclusive to the customer too; you won't find them on my website.

Happy Saturday. Do you have any nice weekend plans?

Neo is getting himself ready for another day of hooning and mischief while Mr S & I are going to Bristol for a day trip to take my Clarinet for a service at a music repair shop.

Week 2 completed. I found it easier than run 2 and I will try run 1 of week 3 next week, but I may repeat week 2 instead as my son (26) suggested.

He said repeating is certainly not a bad idea. Whenever you feel like repeating a day is not pushing yourself then move up.

These gorgeous Sunflower and Succulent Coasters are pretty and practical home decor pieces that won't wilt in the heat. No watering is required. You can store them in their little pot when not in use and leave them displayed all year round. 🌻🪴

I have had a lovely week off and am slowly getting back into a work routine. Do any of you use Vinted? i am thinking about signing up to use it for listing my sale items of old stock. Thanks.

Hi, I am taking a short break away from my laptop but my website is still open for orders and I will dispatch your packages on Monday 14 July.

Many thanks for your lovely purchases and for supporting me this year.

I shared my pretty pink Hydrangea a few days ago and afterwards I realised that last year, when I purchased the plant it was in fact blue.
🩷🩵

I know that Hydrangea will change colour depending on soil PH levels but the fact I had forgotten it was even blue surprised me.

On Wednesday I completed week 1 of the Couch to 5K programme. I found it a challenge but actually managed to run and enjoy the process.

Thank you again for all the messages about doing the programme yourselves, it is great to hear so many of you have found it beneficial too.

It's Thankful Thursday. What you are thankful for this week.

On Sunday I got my first order through Faire for 14 Notebooks. Imposter syndrome hit. I have been selling Notebooks for over 8 yrs now & have sold wholesale before so why am I freaking out because this is my first order through Faire?

It's Wip Wednesday again, so I would love to know what you are working on this week, please.

Today is a notebook making day for a large wholesale order.

I started the Couch to 5K programme on Saturday and completed run 2 yesterday.

I don't want to become a runner but do want to improve my health and fitness. My sister and DiL have both done it and recommended it to me, so I wondered if you have done it too?

Temp Blanket June 2025.

It has been a mixed bag this month and wonderfully warm. I have been able to use some of the red which we were not able to do in 2024.

❤️ Top temp was 28⁰C on 19 & 20.6.25
💚 The lowest temp was a respectable 15⁰C on several days during the first week of June.

It's Sustainability Sunday and what better way to be sustainable than a gorgeous Belfast sink from a lovely lady who had used it for over 30 years as a planter in her garden and now it is a cute wildlife pond in mine. I have wanted to make one for a long time and I hope it lasts me another 30 years.

It's Wip Wednesday again so I would love to know what you are working on this week, please.

Here is January to May 2025 Temperature Blanket so far. You'll have to wait a few more days to see June's square.

It has been a mixed bag of temperatures and much warmer than 2024 too.

New to the range 🌈 introducing a Rainbow Wind Spinner to the collection.

Handmade crochet wind spinners add a whimsical touch and colourful movement to any space. Perfect for adding unique charm to outdoor and indoor spaces, and are also popular hanging decorations for children’s bedrooms too.

Meet the Maker Monday - In 2016 my youngest son, who is autistic, was diagnosed with a rare lymphoma aged 14. I took VR from my full-time job as a SLT Assistant to become his full-time carer and created my small business in 2017 to give me the flexibility to work around his ongoing care needs.

I was going to post for Sustainability Sunday, but saw the news this morning when I woke up, I despair at the state of the world.

I know it has been a 💩 show for a long time now, but I have continued posting about my little life to try and keep a sense of some grounding in the chaos. I am sorry. 🤍
