The greatest joys...
1. New linen bedding from the opshop for 4 bucks in mint condition. The pup being cute.
2. My dahlias, which give me much pink joy for months and months
3 and 4. My tomatoes which are starting to smash out some nice fruit. I pruned them yesterday. Made me so happy.

Food banks matter.
Tonight my family is eating chickpea curry with fresh vegetables and rice, thanks to our local food bank.
Disabled people with psychosocial, developmental, intellectual and learning disabilities are much more likely to live in poverty.
Yet we too have a right to eat, to live.

A few long days of deep cleaning and stocking an ND mama's house. Five ND kids, no supports to speak of, and one mama. No child support, of fucking course. Just carer payment.
These lives lived are hard af. Everything we do to make them more humane, more livable, is worth it.
