If I can be very deliberate about setting aside a specific amount of time and not allowing myself to stop writing even if I know it's no good, that helps. But it's been hard to find that time and motivation these days.

I think once summer break starts and I'm off work, I'll force myself to start actually putting words down.

I try not to share for as long as possible. I tend to think if I talk about an idea, I'll lose the motivation for it.

But I suppose when I do finally share, I usually chat with a group of writer friends here in KC. Tiffany, Erin, Natasha, and Shannon.
