I don't know that she is more powerful, but she has a power he does not have.

I adore Mike and Alison as a couple in BBC Ghosts. So loving, supportive and real. And I think it is abundantly clear he adores her. 💕

Happy #AdvancingPractice2025 week.

🧵1/5

It's the perfect time to launch the survey by my MPharm4 project students. They're investigating factors that help and hinder pharmacists to achieve #AdvancedPractice recognition.

(1/2) My MPharm4 students are doing a project on pharmacists' experiences of #AdvancedPractice credentialling. We are looking for focus group participants who have achieved recognition under @rpharms.com Core Advanced credentialling or @england.nhs.uk Centre for Advancing Practice route (or both!)

@capcbristol.bsky.social was well represented at the @swpharmres.bsky.social Innovation Day yesterday with the IMPPP and RAPID IMMUNE TEST studies both being discussed in the morning presentations. It was also great to share some early reflections from my PhD work in the poster session.

Good morning, the kids have been dispatched to school and given instructions on how to get the dinner cooking when they get home so I'm on my way to Bristol.

Looking forward to meeting lots of other @swpharmres.bsky.social members today #SWPRN25

Looking forward to the 2025 @swpharmres.bsky.social Innovation Day in Bristol tomorrow!

My poster is printed, and I have SWPRN pin badges to give out. Come and find me during the breaks to get your hands on one and help spread the word about the network.

Happy #WorldPharmacistsDay to #pharmsky

I'm a pharmacist who like poems and who feels anxious about the fractured nature of things. So I thought I would share something from @poetrypharmacy.bsky.social

Here's to all the small acts of kindness we see across the world of pharmacy every day 💚

Ah, the absolute joy of the rhymes in those books! 😁
Enjoy the restaurant.

Have a lovely day, I hope the sun shines for you. I'm busy updating my lectures for the third year Bath MPharm students ready for October. I can still trace a link back to the lectures I received from Prof Redfern when I was an undergrad. Did you have any lectures who you remember in particular?

Thank you for another brilliant talk. I am a repeat attendee (hearing you at the Roman Baths last time was pretty amazing) but today was the first time bringing the teen 🙂

Okay, this is going to stay with me for a while @barristersecret.bsky.social 😮

I've been listening to #TheCutThroatTrial and had to get to the end last night to find out where the twists and turns would lead. Add it to your reading pile or enjoy the excellent cast who deliver the audio book.

I know so much is awful, and I am trying to find teeny tiny ways to make things less awful in my little bit of the world, but this evening I am cherishing my beautiful garden, the late summer sunshine, a glass of wine and a good book. Look after yourselves too my friends 💛

My cushion-buying dilemma has been solved by my mother-in-law! A very pleasing birthday present 🎁

Side note, I'm aware dopamine décor is oversimplifying a very complicated thing using the name of a neurotransmitter, but I still love this cushion 💙

I may be missing it, but I see surprisingly little discussion on #pharmsky of the #10YearPlan recommendation for a single national medicines formulary within the next 2 yrs.

I get the appeal, but are there unintended consequences? And how will we build consensus which is hard enough at ICB level!

Thank you @amywski.bsky.social especially for navigating my multi-part questions! It was great to speak with you and Nic (not on Bluesky?) about your roles in #CriticalCare - your love for your specialism was evident 💚 We look forward to sharing the resulting episode with you all soon.

I took my younger son to visit the house last year for one of their Ghosts open days (we both love the show, and Robin especially). The volunteer guides were so lovely, it was great fun.

When Saturday was #Eurovision party day, but the silver curtains are still up on Monday. Starting the week emerging through the shiny foil has quite a good effect on mood and motivation. Maybe we should leave it up 💖

(1/3) I'd been thinking for a while that audio content would be a great addition for our busy postgrad students: learn while you listen on your commute or at home. So, here's a first try covering fictional pharmacists. This is not curriculum content, just for fun!

Aw, Thomas the Tank Engine was such a big part of our lives when boy one was small (he's 14yrs old now). I spent many an hour of searching for rare Thomas characters on eBay for his Brio track ❤️ I'm going to share this with him, he secretly loves a nostalgia hit.
