BOM weather alert that reads Extreme Heat Severity: Severe Significant threat to life or property Description Maximum temperatures in the low to mid thirties, increasing to the mid to high thirties by the start of the new week. Overnight minimum temperatures in the low to mid twenties. Severe heatwave conditions developing over parts of southern and eastern Queensland over the weekend, extending into central parts next week. Severe heatwave conditions will ease over the Southeast Coast from Tuesday as milder southeasterly flow develops. Locations likely to be impacted include Brisbane Metropolitan Area, Beaudesert, Boonah, Gladstone and Ipswich.
