The most important thing to ask when adopting a new cat is “is this an up cat or an under cat?” The answer will have a significant impact on your life going forward.

My cats are a perfect example if two cats that coexist peacefully, but are definitely not a bonded pair. They are not hanging out together in this pic. Instead, they both just happen to want to sit in their favorite spots and the other cat just happens to also be there.

My indoor rosemary plant seems to have a flower!? This plant is largely neglected, I’ve had it for ~3 years. I just water it every so often and leave it next to an east facing window. Is this a good sign? A bad sign? Just a sign that it is fall?!?

Still need to finish the sleeves on my current sweater, but the yarn for my next one has arrived and I am very excited to see what these look and feel like when held double

In honor of this weeks #showmeyourknits, here are the socks I knit using US000 (1.5mm) needles and a very solid non-superwash yarn when I got sick of all my SW 2.25mm needle socks getting holes in them all the time.

We’re at 22 wears (yes, I have been counting) and there’s no sign of thinning!

Every once in a while I remember that, when he was a baby, Figaro liked to steal my dish gloves from the sink and bring them into the bed to play with. I still do not understand why, but he did it regularly 😆

My calico, who only usually allows very limited physical contact, let me give her an extend belly rub today. This happens only once every month or two, so I feel very honored.

I don’t hate my preliminary self portrait, but also it is very clearly skewed to the side and I didn’t notice until I finished the drawing 😆
