"Whisper through the Rain" The streets of the city had long since been swallowed by the dark clouds. A drizzle fell, coating the cobblestones with a glimmering sheen, as if the world itself was crying, mourning something lost, something forgotten. Amid the downpour, a woman walked alone, her steps slow and deliberate, her silhouette barely visible through the veil of rain. Her wide-brimmed hat, black as midnight, obscured her face, leaving only the slightest hint of a shadow where her features should have been. The feather that adorned the hat danced with the wind, its tip brushing against the mist like an unspoken secret. The hem of her dress shimmered beneath the water’s touch, intricate patterns of beads and lace catching the faint light that filtered through the clouds. She had been walking for hours, or was it days? Time was a concept long discarded. The world around her seemed suspended, frozen in a perpetual state of waiting, as if the rain had cast a spell that held everything still. Yet, in the depth of the storm, there was a quiet hum that seemed to draw her forward—a whisper calling from beyond the mist. The feather caught her attention, glinting in a way that made her pause. She reached up, fingers brushing the delicate strands. In that moment, the rain seemed to grow heavier, the weight of it pushing her downward as if the sky itself was pressing upon her. A voice—soft, almost imperceptible—whispered her name. She didn’t startle, for she had been expecting it. She had always known the call would come, but still, she couldn't help the chill that ran down her spine. The time had arrived, and there was no turning back. With a final glance over her shoulder, she pulled the feather from her hat, holding it delicately between her fingers. It was time to face what lay beyond the fog,beyond the storm. Whatever it was, it had been waiting for her, and now, she was ready.
