Yesterday marked 9 years @ PP in MO. It’s still tough, it’s still worth it, I still feel grateful, & I still have some optimism for the future.
It’s a good time to take a step back & recognize that my younger self is marveling at the opportunities I have to do work that means so much to me.

Still blooming — some bushes hadn’t had any blooms at all this year until October. Climate change is terrifying. And in this moment, these hydrangeas bring me joy daily.

Today marks 8 years at Planned Parenthood Advocates in MO. I’m proud/tired/hopeful/daunted/angry/grateful. It’s not lost on me what a privilege it is to do work that aligns w/ my values in the state that I love (even when it feels like MO doesn’t reciprocate). All of that’s true, & it is still hard.
