Full cheese biscuit recipe… She gave this to her friend the chef Simon Hopkinson and was delighted he put it in one of his books. (Of course recipe should now be renamed now in her honour!)

You would always leave a conversation with Rachel with a mental note to see / read / visit something she’d mentioned.

When someone has this much life - and passion for everything life can hold - it is simply impossible to believe they have gone. Impossibly sad. Rachel, we miss you. ❤️🙏

She was the most gifted journalist, a total grafter, mischievous, lively and hilarious. But more than anything, she was so passionate. About books, the arts, food, people. I was always in awe of her ability to be so voraciously curious and so ENTHUSED…
