From top to bottom: Stereum subtomentosum, S. fasciatum and S. lobatum. S. lobatum's tomentum is so felted and matted you can't distinguish individual hairs. This is one of several features used to distinguish North American Stereum

Identifying Stereum isn't easy but I've noticed a lot of people have taken it up as a hobby 😂

Ooh good try but these are Stereum fasciatum! They are hairier than S. lobatum (fold one in half like a taco and you'll see) and do not have bands where the tomentum has worn away
