Almost halfway through Monster, She Wrote: The Women Who Pioneered Horror & Speculative Fiction by Lisa Kröger and Melanie R. Anderson. Love it, especially after reading The Bewitching.

Also enjoying a Woodland Latte at Miro, in Ballard. ❤️

My son played his first D&D game tonight at an open gaming night at Meeples Games in Seattle. Our DM was amazing. <3

I also picked up these games.

I’m part of a holiday extravaganza with my art group. If you’re local, come hang out with us and potentially find some gifts from local artists!

Over Easter, I brought my older nephew (who will soon be turning 3) a kid’s watercolor set. Today he asked me to paint with him. 💕

I am less sure about this attempt at displaying the mountains looking south down the Hudson. Will sleep on these.

The circles became ladybugs!

This arrived today for us to review on The Tome Show! I know my opinion on art in Dungeons & Dragons has changed. I wonder what @squach.bsky.social will say.

I want to submit a larger canvas to my local art group’s upcoming show but I can’t decide between these two. Thoughts?

Printed a leaf with ink to make a different kind of collage paper!

This is my big ol’ pile of papers that I can use, mostly for collage. A lot of them are made by mono printing on a gel plate. I have a significant stash!!!

Another playtime collage. This one is inspired by the Hudson Valley in fall. Wanted to push the idea of using smaller pieces to make up the sky and water and overall really push myself.

The papers are results of gel plate prints.

Thanks to my dad and brother, tons of time for play today. Feeling far less stressed now.

Found this size watercolor sketchbook. It and a gel glue stick are perfect for me to play with collage while out of the house.

Did this while hanging out with my dad.

Art prompted by a discussion of Sojourner Truth. The three circles represent people with different levels of freedom based on parts of their identity leading to their marginalization.
