I hope everyone had a great first day of school! These two started grade 8 and 11 in Regina Public Schools. It was a tad chaotic this morn so we got after school pics instead of this morning 😄 Oldest is at the U of S starting her second year.

I’m grateful for the amazing staff and community we have in Regina Public Schools. Along with Trustees Tracey McMurchy and Brandon Mutala, yesterday I attended the GSA Summit. Great learning, community, and fun for all involved! We even had some students and staff join from other school divisions 🩷

Rainy Red Dress Day walk in North Central this morning. I heard too many stories of more missing and murdered friends and relatives. May every one of the missing come home safe. #MMIWG2S #RedDressDay

It’s been a terrific 2 days of learning, talking, networking, and discussing education at the Saskatchewan School Boards Association Spring Assembly. Provincial budget, division needs, A.I., Public Section concerns, Human Rights, and more! Glad to do the important work for the children of Regina.

Was honoured to attend the Budget Day meeting at the Leg! Announcements sound positive for education, but I’ve been doing this long enough that I know we need time for the Regina Public Schools CFO and financial team to sift through the numbers to tell us what it really means for our schools.
