This bill would affect approximately 80% of married women, many poor individuals who do not have a copy of their birth certificate or the money to order one, and individuals who have ever changed their name for any reason.

Anyone who doesn’t have a copy of their birth certificate that matches their photo ID will lose the right to vote if the SAVE act passes the US Senate.
