A French brand I like that was already a splurge at $160 for a blouse is now $223 for the same shirt.

I was going to say - has no one looked at the new MN flag? We did a good job with it!

Agreed. That was a stellar use of that meme.

Cue the “no one wants to work anymore” chorus about unfilled part-time jobs that usually go to the young because they decide to sell stuff online instead of having more of their paycheck go to taxes.

It is $7 for a bubble tea. Adds up quick!

My teens can’t go to the movies after 7pm unless they’re 18 (thanks AMC!) or sit in a chain restaurant and have a meal even though they have jobs of their own. So, they get takeout and it’s back to the basement. What are they supposed to do?

Agreed. Single payer health care? A domestic Peace Corps program like the kind Buttigieg advocated for in 2020? It could all happen in The After.

I saw one today with TOYOTA painted on the back. No?

It’s true and as much as I pledged to ignore rankings completely when my son started looking at colleges, I was happy that he liked College A better than College B because, while incredibly similar, College A is ranked higher (and therefore is $5K/yr more expensive). We’re so conditioned!

Yep, whooping cough has been going around my kids’ very liberal school since early October. Teens of late 2000s “vaccines bad” left-wing parents.

And to think I had more or less forgotten all about Susan Collins…
