Appreciate the author acknowledging that this is a problem in multiple industries. Academia has taken a page from Walmart’s book in recent years. Many adjuncts have more in common with Walmart employees than w. FT faculty peers. All labor is skilled. No-one deserves to have this labor exploited.

Thanks for sharing! A neighbor here in Fairfield, CT sold their house and land and now we have TEN of these monstrosities where just one farmhouse used to be. Could easily fit 2 or 3 families in each single-family house. This kind of development only exacerbates our affordability crisis.
