All this points to a defining issue of the next 4 yrs.
Trump is a tornado of distraction. As he sprays his verbal slurry, it distracts from the real threats to democracy.
Mainstream media can’t cope. It’s either gutted by layoffs or compromised by ownership.
Independent media outlets are now key.
