This year’s holiday windows at Chicago’s Macy’s on State Street celebrate the grandeur of Marshall Field’s—reminding me of how much I miss Marshall Field’s. At least Macy’s kept Frango Mints.

Paradise Lost, a 100 foot long mural, by Raqib Shaw is on display at the Art Institute of Chicago. The mural displays the first four chapters using allegory to tell Shaw’s story.
