Dog rescuer, software developer; trying to stay sane in the age of Trump, while not abdicating the obligation to protect the most vulnerable.
It could be something as simplistic as: her hero-Daddy rejected her (telling her he wouldn’t support her senate run) and “hell hath no fury…”. Very similar to when Elon went from wearing MAGA hats to “he’s in the files” overnight. All 3 are narcissists who cannot handle rejection/humiliation.

I think after Trump‘s recent health scare, where people were speculating he was dead, a whole bunch of Republicans (Rand Paul, Ted Cruz, MTG, etc) suddenly grew a contrarian spine. They don’t think JD can keep MAGA together W/o Trump and are positioning themselves as the alternative for 2028.

I think people filming them need to read out their badge numbers as they narrate what they are doing: “the person with badge number 444 is trespassing after being asked to leave. The person with badge 329 is kneeling on a man’s neck who is not resisting.” They need to know they can be tracked.

If Republicans follow through on their threat to call Clinton before congress, Democrats simply must ask him (under oath) if Trump sucked his dick.

That reminds me of an addict friend who proudly told me he’d quit all drugs…except “bath salts”

Don’t forget submerging himself and his grandchildren in a river of shit.

I’ll never forgive Diane Feinstein for her role in it. Blasey Ford contacted her before K was officially nominated, hoping she would tell the Trump admin and they would nominate someone else. But Feinstein thought it would be good for Dems to have a circus confirmation hearing, so she sat on it.

Finally, a headline that emphasizes the email implicating him in actual pedophilia and not the email saying “he knew about the girls.” The NYT continues to soft pedal as much as they can.

I want to know what the “I’m 75% there” means. I imagine Congress has the emails that went before and after. My theory is Ghislane speculated about certain people being protected, and he’s saying he’s 75% convinced she’s right. Any others ideas?

Why is the emphasis on the email that he “knew about the girls” and not on the email that Trump had not been a focus of the investigation despite spending “hours” with an underage victim. They didn’t spend hours talking.

This sounds like school vouchers. The poor get the same amount as the rich, which by itself isn’t enough to buy shit. Meanwhile the safety net is shredded.

It will only take until their insurance company dumps them when they gets sick, denies a previously existing condition, charges them for preventative care and imposes a lifetime maximum payout—all things barred by the ACA and easily hidden in the fine print.

Only if you’ve committed new crimes since your pardon. Oh, you have? Well, then yeah.

IN 2020, Austin, Texas, created the Austin Civilian Conservation Corps for people who had been laid off in the pandemic. My niece, who had lost their job as a waitress, learned to wield a chainsaw and worked in Austin Parks. Now she is a wildland firefighter for TNC in Oregon and loves her job.

I am glad she is not going to hold on until she is like Diane Feinstein and Mitch McConnell, and is leaving with her legacy and her mind intact. She was incredibly effective in Trump’s first term and was one of the few people who ever learned how to “handle” him effectively.

I thought I couldn’t live without Twitter, but my mental health improved dramatically when I deleted it.

They haven’t actually started construction
November 2, 2025 at 4:00 PM
During the height of the pandemic my niece and three friends were able to rent a house —albeit in a very sketchy location—when all of them were unemployed (on unemployment) because of the shut down. My niece, at least, had no credit rating at all, but landlords were more desperate to fill vacancies.

I live near 3 lots that were previously not-housing bought by developers who got variances and incentives from the city to build more housing. When rents started dropping, two of them paused construction, and appear to be waiting for the prices to go back up before they build.

Hasn’t he gotten in physical fights with more than one member of the administration already? I know he allegedly punched Elon. He does seem to have a little more trouble telling outright lies than the other officials, and gets more agitated when he has to prevaricate as he does here.

I suspect, as with CECOT, we are paying these countries to imprison them without trial. Once the money runs out, they have no incentive to keep them in prison, but they also have no incentive to let them out where they may expose their corruption.
