Personally I believe we should be belittling everyone who voted for Trump. I don’t discriminate

So basically RFK Jr’s children, but poor.

It’s not the headline it’s how the CDC works. They make recommendations. They don’t mandate or force anything. And you just admitted that parents can decline. Look I’m not going to spend my day arguing with a pro early childhood death moron. Blocked.

The issue is that insurance is based on employment so people change carriers every few years. There is no long term incentive for insurance companies to keep people healthy if you are off their books in a few years. Vaccines are different than gene therapy so who knows. But kids on Medicaid are f’d
December 5, 2025 at 6:18 PM
That’s still the parents choice. If they don’t want to vaccinate they can homeschool. And this has NOTHING to do with the CDC recommendations. Which is what we are talking about. Try to stay focused on the conversation at hand. The CDC makes recommendations. It doesn’t mandate or force anything.
December 5, 2025 at 6:09 PM
The CDC does not mandate anything. It makes recommendations mostly so insurance companies can make coverage decisions. You keep claiming the hep b vaccine is “forced” and “mandated”. It’s not and never has been. Parents have the option to decline. What this does is set up Medicaid to stop coverage

“Panel Votes to End Recommendation for Hepatitis B Shots for All Newborns”. Can you tell me what the word “recommendation” means in that sentence. Feel free to use a dictionary if you can’t get there on your own.
December 5, 2025 at 5:26 PM
Hospitals are businesses. They are not going to provide vaccines for which they are not being reimbursed, regardless of what a doctor who is employed there wants to do. Agree this will affect 2027 and beyond for private insurance, but Medicaid can and will change coverage decisions tomorrow.
December 5, 2025 at 5:09 PM
Also Medicaid will stop coverage. That’s a lot of poor kids.
December 5, 2025 at 4:53 PM
Thats not a long term policy decision. The actuaries are currently weight the cost of the vaccine and the cost of pissing off the Trump regime against the cost of treatment. Not one insurance company has made a decision on what to do when the CDC advises against coverage. We will find out.
December 5, 2025 at 4:49 PM
How are we forcing vaccines on people for insurance reasons? And yes we should. Vaccines are a public good that keep people alive, reduce health care costs, and protect the 5% of the population that can’t be vaccinated due to medical conditions.
December 5, 2025 at 4:47 PM
If insurance companies stop covering the vaccine (most make coverage decisions based on the CDC recommendations) it will be poor kids who die. This isn’t a “choice” for parents. Those who can afford to vaccinate privately will. Those who can’t won’t.

I would rather have a working liver than money. Your mileage may vary.
December 5, 2025 at 4:27 PM
Not if insurance companies stop covering them.
December 5, 2025 at 4:26 PM
The fact that the book let him put $15K down on that means he’s a terrible bettor. If he has a winning record the book would have limited him to like $18 bucks. Oof.

VR is like the one good thing they produce, according to my kids (don’t come for me but the kids love the video games). They are bleeding the youth market in every other product (tell a teenager you watched a reel and see their reaction). Just insanely bad business strategy.

She spoke about ending Citizens United in her debate with Trump, which is my #1 issue. No other politician has done this on the national stage. So she gets points for that with me.

Lots of people can’t tell the difference between being funny and being mean. You should avoid these people at all costs.

I mean if the culture he was raised in caused prolonged trauma maybe it’s not worth saving?
