I’m hitting the hay now, in a completely different room this evening (more relatives arrived!). Sofabed for me tonight! (not to brag).

More relatives have arrived. Thus I’ve been bumped to the living room sofabed, adjacent to the kitchen. The fridge is gently buzzing away *just over there*, weighed down with the heft of today’s leftovers. I’m cosy; it’s ok, actually.
