I expect that there must be ventilation shafts all over the rail network, would be pretty daft if there weren't, but it does get hot down there.
You're right though, there is nice cooling breeze off the trains movement.

In London it isn't all that hot above ground except in the summer, especially these more recent years, but the underground with all those trains, that gets you hot and sweaty fast.
I've been stuck on a stopped and delayed train on the underground, I was dripping with sweat by the time I got out.

I didn't really sweat much running, not for like the first 15 minutes at least.
Wish I could still do that, go out running i mean.

When I was younger I used to walk everywhere, took like an hour to get into town, it was easier to get places, plus I was able to run miles, I guess a certain amount of fitness comes into it all.
Of course that was like 30 years ago, lol.

Usually I like a nice roast turkey meal, gravey amd yorkshire puddings, but I just wasn't in the mood to do anything.

There used to lights string up in town, Christmas tree, all that stuff, but not this year.

Though when I was in primary school, I did used to speak in a much stronger geordie manner of speech, until it was taught out of me.
When I moved south I had to speak clearer just to be understood, my accent lessening but never fully gone.

I often say sir or miss when calling to strangers in person. Saw a guy in tesco a few years ago accidentally drop a ten pound note at the tills, called him sir, gave it back to him.
Also once called a woman milady after helping her reach something on a high shelf, which was embarrassing.

Yes indeed, I have now got plenty of proper sized drinks.

I'd bought everything i needed with my last order, except I made one mistake, I'd bought some cans of coke without checking the size, damn things are tiny sized.
I'll need to correct my mistake next time I go out.
