I feel every word of this. They keep underestimating how much people are done being polite about survival. If you run, I’ll have your back and if not you, then someone who actually gets it needs to.

Absolutely agree both ICE and for-profit prison companies treat human lives as revenue streams. Abolishing them is about shifting from punishment to dignity, from control to care.

The slow blink says it all. Holding space for the folks still showing up despite the weight this system asks for everything and gives so little back.
June 11, 2025 at 11:29 AM
Fair point. But if we abandon the process entirely, we hand them a blank check. The solution isn’t to destroy the system it’s to reclaim it, fix it, and make it harder to abuse.”
June 11, 2025 at 11:22 AM
If that’s true, then let it happen through due process not through abandoning the principles we claim to stand for. Justice only means something if we stick to it even when it’s hard.”

I get it. It feels like everything’s crumbling. But if we throw out the idea of democracy entirely, we’re not resisting we’re surrendering. The real fight is to restore and strengthen the system, not burn it down.
June 11, 2025 at 11:16 AM
It doesn’t come from the track record—it comes from the belief that people can grow, that systems can be challenged, and that apathy helps no one. Faith isn’t blind; it’s a choice to keep pushing anyway
June 11, 2025 at 11:14 AM
Exactly. Awareness is the first step but action has to follow. None of us have all the answers, but if more people thought like this, we’d already be on the road to real change.
June 11, 2025 at 11:11 AM
True, laws are made by people but they were created to protect us from chaos, not to justify it. If we start picking and choosing when to follow them, we’re not evolving we’re regressing.
June 11, 2025 at 11:08 AM
I hear you. Corruption exists on all sides, but what do you think is the best way to push back without just assuming the worst?
January 29, 2025 at 6:28 PM
I see what you’re saying, but we can’t let the system break down completely. We need to work for change without giving up the foundation.
January 29, 2025 at 4:53 PM
That means a lot—thank you! It’s all about taking steps in the right direction.
January 29, 2025 at 4:49 PM
If we abandon the rule of law to ‘save’ the country, then what exactly are we saving? That logic just leads to chaos
January 29, 2025 at 4:47 PM
No news source is perfect, but dismissing them all outright might mean missing important perspectives
January 29, 2025 at 4:44 PM
If that’s the plan, it could backfire. Forcing people out without paying them would invite lawsuits, and not every company operates like Twitter under Elon.
January 29, 2025 at 4:42 PM
It’s possible, but unless there’s evidence of bad faith, it might just be a standard cost-cutting move. Companies do buyouts all the time.

If he’s truly acting outside his authority, then the courts or Congress will check him. No need to jump straight to assuming it’s a scam.
January 29, 2025 at 4:39 PM
Media consolidation is a problem across the board, but blaming it solely for a lack of GOP AGs oversimplifies things. Voter preferences, candidate quality, and political strategy play much bigger roles.
January 29, 2025 at 2:38 PM
A military takeover would destroy democracy, not save it. If we believe in the system, we have to fix it through legal and democratic means, not force.
January 29, 2025 at 2:35 PM
Absolutely agree! The right people will always value the real you❤️
January 17, 2025 at 10:30 AM
There’s no need for insults. Disagreeing is fine, but respect goes both ways.

I couldn’t agree more Man on the Inside’ was phenomenal! Ted Danson truly knocked it out of the park, and that first episode had me in tears laughing. You’re so right we need more grounded, live-action comedies like this. It’s refreshing and such a joy to watch. Let’s hope Netflix and others do same

Aww, that’s so sweet! DeeDee must have had such a special day—happy belated birthday to her! She’s lucky to have such a thoughtful parent
I wished I could’ve wished her earlier than now but I’m just see these today so sorry DeeDee
January 14, 2025 at 12:52 AM
Absolutely, I couldn’t agree more! Consistency and patience really do make all the difference. Well said!❤️
