Maybe! I know it's definitely not everyone's cup of tea but I truly loved everything about it.

I totally understand! Everyone seems to love quicksilver and I absolutely hated it BUT I read it immediately after reading Fourth Wing and Iron Flame which were both 5⭐️ for me lol so maybe I was judging too harshly lol

I did also enjoy that you're kind of confused and in the dark along with the FMC (I know a lot of people hated that aspect if the book) It all comes to fruition towards the end. In my opinion, it was brilliant.

I honestly love it. I know the pacing and flow can be a little odd but overall I genuinely loved that book so much. I enjoy high fantasy with strange creatures and intense world building. I did also really enjoy her writing style. I know that's not for everyone though!

There's a lot of side characters being thrown around and sometimes she uses their first name and sometimes their last name so that is what really threw me off the most. 😅 she would use the last name and I was like who tf? Lmao

Not yet! I'm 90% into Red Queen and will absolutely be jumping straight into Glass Sword immediately following! This first one has been SO good!

Honestly, there was SO much information flying around I often found myself having to double back to make sure I understood what was happening and WHO it was happening to/concerning 🫠 Overall I enjoyed it, but not quite as much as the first two. I did give it 4/5⭐️ overall, I did actually enjoyed it!
