An excerpt of 'Stones Fall to the Sea' written whilst thinking about the chalk hills of the South Downs. I'm currently working on a variation for a karst limestone landscape. Karst is the landscape of dissolution - a landscape for the times. At least that's what I'm thinking as I write.
