Truth is, 2024 tested me. I end the year wiser and more certain than ever before that my Poppa is right: paciencia (patience, in his Ladino) is what I’ve got to learn.
So I closed the year with my first tattoo, a reminder— with plenty of butterflies— of how I can survive anything. Even 2025.

Truth is, 2024 tested me. I end the year wiser and more certain than ever before that my Poppa is right: paciencia (patience, in his Ladino) is what I’ve got to learn.
