A couple years ago, my neighbor's above ground pool exploded and flooded that tunnel. Pretty sure that a few babies were drowned.
They keep using it tho. 🤷

Hmm. I've got a several generations old groundhog family here and I've never seen these.
Maybe it's because they tunnelled under my garage instead?

Just wonderful. I don't see this kind of stuff in my area except for very special, isolated wet spots. 😍 They are few and far between.

This would have been a good opportunity to explain to others that all wild mushrooms, except beefsteak, should be cooked, and that you are making a choice to eat it raw.

Sounds great. May is a good time because everything is fully awake and there will be lots of plants to look at. And, depending on the weather, morels. 🥰
