I’m at an ethics conference where a presenter just told us that a common word in research has been said to be offensive to indigenous people. And then he told us that we should still use the word because it does not mean what they think it means, and there is no research that proves it’s offensive.

I have been a die hard ABBA fan since I first heard them and I'm even more enamored of them now! I love this story and am filled with gratitude that private funding persists even when federal sources for this kind of work are threatened and diminishing. theworld.org/segments/202...
